Canada self-employed is a programme for people who want to live in Canada and work for themselves.
This program’s running period is estimated to be about 23 months.
You must demonstrate how you can contribute to the Canadian lifestyle, culture, economy, and community if you choose to immigrate to Canada and stay self-employed.
When a person is self-employed, he or she has the freedom to work on their own schedule. Immigrants who work for themselves have the freedom to choose when and for whom they work.
This programme, like any other, requires the applicant to demonstrate sufficient qualifications and skills applicable to their job. For this programme, you must have at least two years of work experience related to the self-employment work you would do in Canada. You must also prove that you have enough resources to support yourself, as well as medical and security clearance.
The Self-employed Persons Program allows people to immigrate to Canada permanently as a self-employed person.
