Temporary foreign employees who work full-time in Alberta fall into this group. You must be employed by an Alberta employer and have a qualifying occupation to be considered for the Alberta Opportunity Stream.
A constructive (LMIA) Labour Market Impact Assessment is one of the most basic criteria.
Minimum qualifications include meeting residency requirements, your profession, the type of work permit you have, and your occupation and education. You’ll also need to show your work experience and a job offer from Alberta.
Make sure you have a valid temporary residency status in Canada before mailing your application to Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program. This is a temporary foreign worker visa that allows you to work in Canada for a limited period of time. Your profession must be qualified, and you must have all of the required documentation on hand.
Temporary foreign employees who are already employed full-time in Alberta and have a full-time job offer from an Alberta employer in a qualifying occupation are eligible for the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS).

The AINP defines the ‘mailing date’ as follows:
The AINP may confirm the mailing date with the mail service provider, including online tracking information.
