Apply for your Skills Assessment
If the eligibility is confirmed by the visa applicant then it is time to apply for Skills Assessment. There are certain bodies that are responsible for assessing many different types of occupations. For instance, all engineers must submit at the Institution of Engineers, Australia, general professionals will deal with VETTASSESS, all IT professionals will contact ACS and there are so many other assessing authorities. The assessing authorities basically check the education of the applicants thoroughly. They also assess the work experience and determine if it is done at the appropriate skill level or not.
Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)
Use SkillSelect to make an expression of interest (EOI) if you are a skilled professional or from overseas who wish to settle in Australia. EOIs must be completed online using SkillSelect. Submitting an EOI does not mean submitting a visa application. To apply for a visa, applicant must get invitation in their Skill Select Account.
While submitting an EOI, the applicant must give details of positive assessment outcome, English test result, personal information, educational and employment history.
Wait for your invitation to apply for your Skilled Visa
Applicants will get invitation through their skill select account. Getting invitation means the applicant can now submit visa application for Australian permanent residence.
