Canada BC PNP Skills Immigration

If you have the expertise, experience, and qualifications that employers in British Columbia need, you can apply for the BC Provincial Nominee Program’s Skills Immigration (SI) stream (BC PNP).

Qualified worker, healthcare professional, expertise immigration, entry level, and semi-skilled are some of the options. International graduate with a background in health care. Each of these categories has its own set of criteria, and if you meet them all, you will become a permanent resident of Canada.

You must have a Skill type of 0 or a Skill level of A or B. Aside from that, you’ll need to demonstrate that you have or are qualifying for legal immigrant status in Canada.Please view employer requirements for further details.

Who is it for?

Workers in a professional, management, technological, trade, or other skilled occupation may obtain permanent residency in B.C. through the Skills Immigration (SI) – Skilled Worker category of the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). If you fit into one of these categories and want to live in Canada permanently, this is the programme for you.

How to Qualify

To qualify for this category, you must:

  • have accepted a full-time, indeterminate job offer (a permanent job, or one with no set end date) from a B.C. employer. The job must be in a National Occupational Classification (NOC) skilled occupation (Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or B).
  • be capable of performing the job duties
  • have at least two (2) years of directly relevant work experience
  • be able to support yourself and your dependents
  • have legal immigrant status in Canada or be considered for it
  • meet minimum language requirements for NOC skill level B occupations
  • have a pay offer that is in accordance with the occupation’s wage rates in B.C.
